Florrie is an Assistant Solicitor in the Court of Protection Health & Welfare team at Moore & Tibbits Solicitors. She specialises in advising on complex matters involving mental capacity, best interests decision-making and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
Florrie works with families, professionals and advocates in cases concerning care arrangements, residence, medical treatment and safeguarding issues. She regularly assists clients in applications and proceedings before the Court of Protection, ensuring that individuals who lack capacity are properly represented and that their rights, wishes and welfare remain central to decision-making.
She is known for her sensitive and pragmatic approach, recognising that Court of Protection matters often arise in challenging and emotional circumstances. Florrie is committed to delivering clear, practical advice and guiding clients through the legal process with empathy and professionalism.
Working closely with colleagues across the firm and alongside healthcare professionals, social services and expert witnesses, Florrie helps clients navigate the Mental Capacity Act 2005 framework and achieve outcomes that prioritise dignity, autonomy and wellbeing.
