Annabel is a Solicitor in the Court of Protection Health and Welfare team having qualified in January 2025. Annabel completed her Graduate Diploma in Law at Cardiff University and her Masters in Law at the University of Law in 2024.

Annabel previously worked as a Local Government Solicitor before joining Moore & Tibbits in May 2026, and has experience working in central government, as a policy officer. 

With a compassionate and pragmatic approach, Annabel works closely with clients during what are often complex and sensitive situations, ensuring their rights and wishes are at the forefront of every case.

Annabel provides advice and support on a wide range of health and welfare cases including:

• Court of Protection applications under Section 21A and Section 16 of the Mental Capacity Act
• Best interests decisions including residence, care and treatment
• Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Liberty Protection Safeguards

She regularly works alongside social workers, healthcare professionals, litigation friend and family members to achieve the best possible outcome for vulnerable individuals.

Outside of work, Annabel enjoys spending time with friends and family and taking her dog (Juno) for walks in the Cotswolds.
