*BREAKING NEWS* | Yvonne gains specialist accreditation
We are excited to announce that Yvonne Chapman, Senior Solicitor at Moore & Tibbits has obtained the Accredited Legal Representative (ALR) status in Court of Protection proceedings.
Yvonne successfully completed the specialist accreditation in the Law Society’s Mental Capacity (Welfare) Scheme which is a recognised quality standard for practitioners who provide advice on health and welfare matters under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
To achieve this accreditation, Yvonne went through a detailed application process, training course and an assessment approved by the Court of Protection. Her dedication and hard work have paid off and she is thrilled to have achieved the accreditation.
Through her years of experience working closely with vulnerable individuals and their families, Yvonne has developed a deep understanding of their lives, focusing on issues that are central to a person’s life, understanding their needs and protecting their best interests. The ALR accreditation provides Yvonne’s clients and future clients with the confidence that she has the necessary knowledge and experience to represent them in this complex area of law. Yvonne’s ALR accreditation reflects her high level of expertise in mental capacity law and her unwavering commitment and dedication of working closing with vulnerable individuals and their families.
As an ALR, Yvonne can be appointed by the court to represent vulnerable individuals who lack capacity without involving a litigation friend. She also continues to work with the Official Solicitor who acts a litigation friend, advocates and represents family members.
Yvonne’s commitment and dedication to her clients are evidenced in the hard work she put into achieving this accreditation. If you have any queries relating to the Court of Protection or if you have a case that could benefit from Yvonne being appointed as an ALR, please contact Yvonne: YvonneC@moore-tibbits.co.uk or call 01926 354704.
