We are planning to set up a new specialist employment department at Moore & Tibbits and are looking for a senior solicitor to head up that team and assist with the recruitment of junior members of staff as the team grows.

The Role:

• Advising clients on a broad range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
• Managing a caseload and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Supervising and managing junior members of the team.
• You will also be responsible for marketing and business development and client relationship management.

The Person:

We welcome applicants with a wide range of experience and backgrounds and are looking for a solicitor with a track record of managing their own caseload and experience of managing junior solicitors and paralegals. 
We expect you to be able to lead by example and demonstrate strong supportive leadership skills.    

Key Skills & Experience:

• Qualified solicitor with 4 years+ experience in dealing with employment matters.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of employment matters.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• An established track record of meeting financial targets.
• Experience of mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
