Senior Solicitor

Alison is a Solicitor in our Wills, Trust and Probate team, joining in May 2021.  With over 20 years’ experience since qualifying as a solicitor in December 2000, Alison has developed a wealth of technical knowledge and extensive experience providing clear and transparent advice to clients.

Alison advises clients on inheritance tax matters, estate planning and preservation of wealth for future generations through wills and trust arrangements.  She has specialist knowledge in relation to complex wills which may include discretionary or life-interest trusts and also Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Recognising the increasingly complex environment in which those wishing to pass on their assets to successors were required to operate, Alison is proud to be a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).  This specialist qualification is highly regarded and only awarded to those practitioners with a high level of knowledge of Trust and Estate Administration. 

Dealing with an estate following the death of a loved one can be a daunting and complex task for many people.  Alison provides sensitive advice and support at this difficult time providing an efficient and compassionate service.  

If you are unable to visit our offices, we are more than happy to visit you at home.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys long walks in the country or a good book to read.
